Its elliptical-shaped bay, with about 1,800 by 400 metres and three kilometres of sandy beach will be the stage for an event that will also serve as a tribute to the two triathletes from the municipality of Alcobaça present at the Tokyo Olympics: Melanie Santos and João Silva.
Sprint race (750m swim, 20km cycling and 5km run) disputed individually. Swimming in the
bay with no relevant swell and no currents, cycling mostly on the national road 242, good
road surface, no climbs and running on Av. Marginal along the bay.
